Yaxhá-Nakúm-Naranjo National Park is located in the Maya Biosphere Reserve at the Northeastern of Guatemala.

It posseses about 37,500 Hectares of Rainforests, Wetlands, Lakes and Lagoons. At this moment, the National Park is in the process of being declared a “Ramsar” site because the importance of its wetlands to migratory and resident birds.
